He is a successful competition-grade piper in both solo and pipe band circuits, and an active duty military member with more than 17 years of bagpiping experience. Larry received his tutorage from some of the world's the best military pipers while living in the United Kingdom. He had the unique opportunity to study directly under Pipe Major Steven Duffy of the 2nd Battalion Scots Guards, and Pipe Sergeant Richard Jasper for five years. This top-level tutorage has made him not only an excellent piper, but also taught him many traditions and decorum of the world-renowned Scots Guards regiment. Larry is a world-traveled bagpiper; having competed and performed on three continents and successfully competed in many of the Royal Scottish Pipe Band Association Majors competitions. Above all Larry is a friendly, approachable, and knowledgeable musician who can make your next event unforgettable.
